guarantee pension

The guarantee pension secures your income if you are a retiree with a very low income. If your income is below a certain limit, you may be granted the guarantee pension. The guarantee pension is granted and paid for by Kela.

Other pension income that you get, also that from abroad, is  deducted in full from the full amount of the guarantee pension. If you receive only a partial disability pension or a survivors’ pension, you cannot get the guarantee pension.
