pension contribution

The earnings-related pension contribution is a statutory insurance contribution that is used to fund earnings-related pensions. If you are a public or private sector employer or employee, you pay pension contributions. As an employer, you insure your employees and deduct their share of the contribution from their wages.

If you are self-employed or a farmer, you take out your own pension insurance and pay the pension contribution based on your confirmed income from work.
