occasional employer
You are an occasional employer if you do not continuously employ people and your wage sum is below a certain limit. As an occasional employer, you do not have to sign an insurance contract with a certain pension insurance company but pay the contributions to any pension provider by the 20th of the month after you have paid the wages.
Households may be occasional employers.
