The pension calculators have been updated and moved to a new location

Reading time 1–2 minutes

Both the pension calculator and the partial old-age pension calculator can now be found at a new location. Alongside this, they now offer new features and clearer instructions. However, the calculators’ basic functionality remains unchanged.

The pension calculators on Tyoelake.fi can now be found primarily at laskurit.tyoelake.fi/en. The latest additions to this address are the pension calculator and the partial old-age pension calculator. The calculator for the recommended YEL income, the survivors’ pensions pension calculator, and pension calculator for periods of family leave were already available at the new address.

Although the calculators have been technically relocated to laskurit.tyoelake.fi/en, they remain easily accessible from the Tyoelake.fi website. The “Check your retirement age” calculator remains an integral part of the site. Relocating the calculators aims to facilitate their future development.

New feature: average pension accrual by age group

The calculators function primarily as before, but with minor improvements. The pension estimate calculator and the partial old-age pension calculator now provide an estimate of the average pension accrual for the user’s age group. This information is displayed once the user has selected their year of birth. This is particularly helpful in situations where personal accrual data is unavailable.

Additionally, the instructions for the calculators have been clarified and are now presented in dropdown menus for easier access.
